If you really care, get good at selling

Salespeople get a terrible rap.

Many of us still have that image in our head of the used car salesman in a shiny polyester suit.

But I love people who sell.

A good salesperson will help you fix the problem you're trying to solve.

They'll show you why one solution is better than another and serve you to make a good choice.

Often, when I've relaxed and listened to a salesperson who knows what they're talking about, I've made a really good decision and got amazing value.

Aspire to be a great seller

I'm convinced that we'd all be better off if we saw selling as a noble pursuit.

If you don't like to see yourself as someone who sells, maybe you need to see selling differently.

Selling is listening

It's trying to understand someone's needs and how you can meet them. And if you can't, leading them to someone who can.

Selling is helping

It's not about persuading anyone to choose us, but about supporting families to make good, informed decisions for themselves.

Selling is leading

It's showing someone what their new life might look like.

If you love people, you should get to love selling.
